Janet L. Lowder
Janet L. Lowder, a principal of the firm, devotes her career to defining, promoting, and protecting the legal rights of the elderly and of persons with mental and physical disabilities. An honors graduate of Baldwin-Wallace College and Cleveland-Marshall College of Law, Ms. Lowder focuses her practice on
- estate planning for persons with disabilities, and their families;
- elder law;
- Medicaid planning and benefit eligibility issues; and
- guardianship and other probate matters.
Ms. Lowder is a member of, among other organizations, the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys. She is a founder of Community Fund Management Foundation, a non-profit organization that provides the Master Trust and the Pooled Medicaid Payback Trust for individuals with disabilities. Ms. Lowder is widely published and a frequent speaker on elder law issues, estate planning, and financial planning for persons with disabilities. A bibliography is available on request.
